The Bishop’s Committee is the elected governing body of St Peter’s Mission. In addition to a Vicar, the Bishop’s Committee is composed of the Bishop’s Warden, Junior Warden and other members who represent a broad spectrum of St Peter’s community. According to the church canons, the Bishop's Committee has responsibility for the “temporal affairs of the Mission” including stewardship, property, personnel and program development and oversight. The Bishop’s Committee meets on a monthly basis.

Kay Horton
Kay Serves as a Member at Large, and has been a member of St. Peter's since 2010. I am an Arizona native. I was born in Tucson, AZ and raised in Willcox, AZ. I have 2 sons, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. I received my BS in Education at Northern Arizona University and my Masters Degree in Education at Arizona Sate University. I taught Business at Casa Grande Union High School for 31 years. After retirement my husband and I had a small place in Lakeside, AZ for the summer which we used for several years. After about 5 years of retirement, I got restless and started working for the finance department for Maricopa Unified School District and stayed with them for 8 years before retiring for good. I was received at St. Peters by Bishop Kirk Smith on January 15, 2012. I always feel so welcome at St. Peters and decided I could do more. I was a greeter and on the alter guild for several years before I had to stop as I had several other obligations that needed me more. It truly is the little church with the big heart. Kay Ellen Horton
